Bros throughout the centuries have enjoyed chillin. In fact, chillin (or "chillin out") is a primary activity of all bros. However, as a bro grows up in a capitalistic society, he finds that chillin is only possible after securing some basic needs: clothes, water, shelter, and beefy crunch burritos. A bro will learn he must make money to survive in such a harsh society. After theorizing about pyramid schemes, internet scams or male prostitution, he will concede to the will of society and seek out a job.
J.B Nethercutt learned this important lesson in 1923 when he moved to California and got a job with his aunt's cosmetics company. This young bro came up with an improved formula for cosmetics and he made like-a-bizillion dollars. With his money, J.B. bought cars, lots of cars, and some other sweet nick-nacks too. Anyways, he eventually died and he couldn't take all his cool stuff with him.
The Nethercutt Collection is a sick museum in Sylmar on Bledsoe St.. I had the pleasure of taking the tour last month and I was truly impressed. If you have even a minute interest in cars, pianos, antiques, or money...you have to check this guy's place out. The collection, which is free to the public, includes several of the most expensive vintage cars in the world, the world's most expensive piano, and several mobster-style cars (Big B!).
Bro-trip soon?

Mitchel the Alert/Diligent/Faithful,
ReplyDeleteI decided to take another look at your blog since I just skimmed over it the last time I read it. And I somehow completely missed this post. So...I decided to comment on it.
Male prostitution? Really Mitchel? Why would anyone choose an 8-5 job over male prostitution? That makes NO sense. Also, I never knew that all a bro needs in life are beefy crunch burritos. That's some valuable info right there. I'll def. keep that in mind.
-Your BFFFFF Cate.
PS. I don't think we can be best friends anymore, considering you're a racist. However, if I'm ever upset and crying I'll definitely give you a call...cuz apparently you're supposed to be super helpful in those types of situations.
Cate! Congrats on being the first comment ever on the Bro Blog. I'm glad we were BFFs for a time, and although I am sad it is over, I would be happy to comfort you with whatever you're going through (such as the loss of a BFF). Take care!
